Goodreads Summary: What if you could dream your way into a different life? What if you could choose to live that life forever?

Sloane and Maggie have never met. Sloane is a straight-A student with a big and loving family. Maggie lives a glamorously independent life as an up-and-coming actress in New York. The two girls couldn't be more different--except for one thing. They share a secret that they can't tell a soul. At night, they dream that they're each other.

The deeper they're pulled into the promise of their own lives, the more their worlds begin to blur dangerously together. Before long, Sloane and Maggie can no longer tell which life is real and which is just a dream. They realize that eventually they will have to choose one life to wake up to, or risk spiraling into insanity. But that means giving up one world, one love, and one self, forever.

This is a dazzling debut that will steal readers' hearts.

Cindy's Review:

I must say, this book is totally original. I never read this concept. And that's why I like it so much! I noticed I have reading a lot of purple covers lately. ;) But let's start it off.

Cover:
If you don't know me, I pay attention a lot. I know the whole old term of not judging a book by its cover, but there is a reason a book has a cover. LOL.
This book's cover is mysterious to me. And I like how it's blurred in a part like it's tears or following the book concept, a dream. And did I mention the purple covered books I've been reading. It's just all a coincidence. I pick them up. They look good and  them. Simple as that.

Characters:
So, there are two characters in this book. It is a switching point of view thing. The author labels the chapter with the POV so it isn't that confusing, that is, until the end. Where it was so confusing. Like really. But I didn't get annoyed and hate it. Instead, I cried for them. SO bad.
Anyways, back on topic. So the two main characters are Sloane Margaret Jameson, who is a regular high school girl and recently found a guy she likes and the other main character is Maggie (I forgot her last name). Maggie is an actress trying to get her roles in movies.

Concept/Plot:
Both girls dream of each other at night. While Maggie dreams about Sloane's day, Sloane dreams of Maggie's day. When they try to find each other, online, using Yellow Pages, they can't find a trace of each other. When things started going crazy and they actually become one person, Maggie and Sloane tries to fight for and hold on to their lives.

Overall, this book was good. It started off as an interesting, normal book. Then it started dividing into it's own creativity.

Rating: (1-10): 9.5!
For its uniqueness. ;)
