Goodreads Summary: I had big thoughts to match the big wind. I wondered if we find the people we need when we need them. I wondered if we attract our future by some sort of invisible force, or if we are drawn to it by a similar force. I felt I was turning a corner and that change was afoot.

In the little town of Blackbird Tree live two orphan girls: one Naomi Deane, brimming with curiosity, and her best friend, Lizzie Scatterding, who could talk the ears off a cornfield. Naomi has a knack for being around when trouble happens. For she knows all the peculiar people in town--like Crazy Cora and Witch Wiggins and Mr. Farley. But then, one day, a boy drops out of a tree. The strangely charming Finn boy. Then the Dingle Dangle man appears, asking all kinds of questions. Curious surprises are revealed--three locked trunks, a pair of rooks, a crooked bridge, and that boy. Soon Naomi and Lizzie find themselves zooming toward a future neither could ever have imagined. Meanwhile, on a grand estate across the ocean, an old lady whose heart has been deceived concocts a plan. . . .
As two very different worlds are woven together, Newbery Medal winner Sharon Creech celebrates the gossamer thread that connects us all, and the great and unexpected gifts of love, friendship, and forgiveness.

Cindy's Review: It's another one of Sharon Creech's great reads. I love her books. It's so full of adventure and love.

This wonderful books starts when a boy named Finn falls out of a tree. I'm still confused who he is at the end, but it doesn't matter. I found something more magnificent. ;) The cover has a nice warm feeling to it, making me actually wanting to go there. And I'm also confused how Finn boy got on the tree. Did is climb on it then fall down, or he just fell out of a tree out of nowhere.

The main character of this book is Naomi Deane. I think she was a little in love with Finn, also known as Finn boy. Naomi is an orphan who was taken cared by Nula and Joe. Her best friend is named Lizzie Scatterding(head). So, there the whole adventure of Naomi. I'll leave it for you to find out.

One of my greatest reliefs is that Mrs. Kavanagh isn't  evil. I really thought for sure she was evil at the beginning.

Okay, my review is getting sorta choppy. I'm gonna stop it here for today.

  4. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way
of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two
images. Maybe you could space it out better?
