Update: February 26th, 2015

I just wanted this short update to say what's been going on with my life.
Not trying to announce anything major.
More like keeping a journal entry for myself and this school year.

**Okay. Apparently, it didn't turn out short at all, so you don't have to read it all. I guess you can just look for the topics that interest you. Ranting things out feels really
 nice afterwards. :) **

Image result for sophomore year

My sophomore year of high school.
What can I say?
I definitely got more busy.
I certainly overuse the word 'definitely'.
I'd like to join to more extracurricular activities, but at the same time, I feel like I don't time for things like these books and reviews.

I decided to join cross country this year.
Despite hating miles and running, I found out that I actually do like running.
Although the practices are torture and the pre-race feels are crappy, I absolutely loved the excitement and the happiness that follows after a race. Every single one. Except I didn't feel well for the championship.
Bummer. Oh well. It was my best time yet. :D
Orchestra is probably not going as well as I thought.
The music is actually hard. Like all those flat and sharp changes. And beat changes. I really must learn how to read my notes.
But I got the amazing opportunity last Thursday to be in a quartet and play a piece with only 4 people.
Although it was scary, it was a daring and fun opportunity.
Now onto my classes. I feel like I don't care much about my classes anymore.
At the same time, I care so much more. It really depends which ones you're talking about.
Surprisingly, pre-calc and english is almost meaningless to me.
The teachers do not teach well. I can practically sleep and pass the class. Whenever I have extracurricular events that involves skipping my afternoon classes, no worries.
I literally don't have to be in class and still understand everything that's going on.
It's probably due to my outstanding teachers last year.
Where did they go?

Then AP Bio and AP World is a whole other world.
My whole sophomore year is about those classes.
Obviously, bio is life.
Not that I want it to be the center of my life, but it kind of is.
I study so much for this class. Tests are 95% of our grade!
Basically, every 2 weeks, we get a 75 question test to finish in one period: 55 minutes. Insane. I don't know how I'm surviving.
Every week, we get these quick quizzes, which is basically memorizing 400+ root words. It's randomized and we add 15 per week. Sigh.
AP World is ALL BOUT THEM ESSAYS.
And those are driving me crazy.
I just got the compare and contrast essays down.
Now we have to do DBQs.
Our first DBQ test is this upcoming Thursday.
Someone kill me now. *tears

Girls Inc. have actually been pretty fun this year.
We get fun events like seeing plays and acrobat performances.
We have movie night every month and career speakers.
Plus, the opportunity to go white water rafting is coming up!
#Excited
I'm actually looking forward to these events.

Service clubs.
Okay. I've really been meaning to do them.
But they're actually kind of hard to commit to.
There are so many people in the club.
And really the events are dope. And fun. And amazing. And friendly.
I get to meet lots of new people.
But I feel like I don't have time.
Or I rather stay home and sleep. Or read. Or watch movies.
One big problem is that I can't drive and literally every service event needs to be driven to on our own.
My parent's work schedule is really hard to fit around.
But I'm trying.
Instead of focusing on the popular Key Clubs and Interacts, I think I'm going to try out Jefferson Service and see how it is.
I really want to learn how to play a key role in my community and the chance of becoming a leader would be great.
Of course, this is a book blog.
I've got to talk about books.
And my blog.
I feel like I've been slacking.
Well, I really have been.
I'm way behind on reviews.
Just because I'm too busy for blogs doesn't mean I'm not reading though. I'm just too lazy to review.
I'll definitely try to keep up.
Right now, I'm doing it, but who knows what will happen in a month?
I'll try, guys. I promise.
At least I've been reading.

Movies.
Just because I talked about reading.
I totally understand why people in college and high school love movies so much.
When I was younger, I thought they were just wasting time.
But now, movies are sanctuaries.
They provide entertainment, yet times for rest.
They're funny, tear-jerkers, or anything you want.
You get to see your fellow celebs on the big screen.
Fangirling.
Just life of a teenager.

Well, it has been fun talking to you. Or actually to myself.
I don't really know what to do with this useless post.
But well. Let's end with an inspiring quote.

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all."
- Oscar Wilde

Update: New URL

HELLO guys!
Thanks for coming to visit my new website (NEW URL).

Changing your URL is actually much more work than I anticipated.
Sure it's just switching your URL.
But that means changing all your links.
And everything that's referring to your old URL.
And it's really hard to let people know about your new one.
And less pageviews.

PROS:
Well, a better URL, I hope.
Also, a great time to change blog design.
I think that's it. No one really changes their URL.

CONS:
Little to none pageviews (at first at least).
Having to change the links referring to old URL.
Changing some of the links are really hard.
Have to restart reputation-ISH.
No one can find me anymore.
Not that I have much in the first place.
Still not done remembering where to change the links.
Do not know how to change those links.

Does anyone want to offer advice?
I'll be glad to accept them. :)

November 24th, 2012 (Inevitable)

So after a really long time, literally two months, of not touching the book I had started to write, Inevitable, I finally took it up again. :) I reread the first two chapters and finished up Chapter 3.

I like the end of Chapter 3 :) Yay. I need to continue it up. I heard from my friend that if you publish a book before you get into college, it will help with your applications. I could use some help. :)

I feel like the main character, Arabelle changed a bit from Chapter One and Two to Chapter Three. Maybe it was the time period, but Arabelle seems to be more quirky. I guess it's a good thing.

September 23rd, 2012.

Hello again!

This is Cindy Mai with an important update (important if you actually care. LOL.)

Update: LIANA CHAU IS NO LONGER RUNNING THIS BLOG.

Yes. I'm here by myself. Liana still have the password and can have a visit post or whatever, but she had fully given me the whole blog so she can focus more on hers, http://bookaholic-ness.blogspot.com.

I'm still her Book Buddy and her editor. ;) But yep. So now, I own the blog and can do whatever I want. ;)

September 22nd, 2012.

It's been a while, more precise a week, since this blog was updated. I guess both Liana and I have been very busy with schoolwork, reading, volunteer work and everything else. As for me, I mostly update on the weekends. Yes, I have been reading some books, but the book reviews would come up later since it's a book tour and all. Currently, I'm reading Beautiful Creatures. It's a thick, fat book I bought at the book fair yesterday.

Last week, our school had a book fair as well as a Back to School Night on Thursday. I also bought the two sequels, Beautiful Darkness and Beautiful Chaos. I heard it was pretty good and I really need more fat, thick, new books on my shelf since it had been like that for a while. The beginning isn't boring, but it isn't very "I can't put it down, I have to read!" sort either. So, maybe I should have bought a copy of Divergent by Veronica Roth for myself instead. But it ran out of copies!! Oh well. At least I actually have a to-be-read list. Last time I checked, it had been as empty as ever.

More exciting news here, The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan (The Heroes of Olympus #3) comes out next month!!! October!!! I really can't wait. I already have the book order from school!! OMG. $11.99! Can't wait. It's like on the top of my to-be-read list. FOR LIANA; If you want to also pre-order from the book order, you can always tell me. I know book orders are cheaper and I'm not sure if the high school has book orders.

So anyways, I feel like my update is ending. Not much more to say except I'm so glad it's the weekend. Falcon Work and homework and school is so tiring. So have a nice weekend!

Inevitable - Chapter Two

Hey Cindy. (; omg. So busy with school. I haven't been doing Incend lately. D: Well. I'm gonna work on it now and send it to ya, k? Yeah. So good luck with Inevitable and stuff. omg, Ms. Valdez calling me a cute little girl. whut.

Haha....lol. Yeah, that was Liana. I was a little bit lazy when I made this draft. I was about to post it next week, but yeah, I was too busy doing this, watching shows. And as you know, school started. So I'm like super busy doing Falcon Work and hanging out. No time, like Liana said. I haven't really been writing that much in Inevitable because of school and such, but I'll try really hard to not get distracted and write in it as much as possible. ;)

Since I owe it to you now, omg. Here's Inevitable-Chapter Two!

Inevitable-Chapter Two
The main road that leads to the city was dark and dangerous, espcially at night.

Great. I thought. I came out just in time for my doom facing bandits alone. With a sigh, I look towards the side of the road, where the bushes are which made a great hideaway for both bandits and travelers.

Looking at the dark shadows of the medium-sized bushes, I smacked my forehead. Oh! Why had I forgotten a flashlight? Oh well. I will have to deal with what I have now.

I crept closer to the edge of the road, getting ready in case any bandits come flying out at me.

When I made sure no one was behind the bushes, I patted the soft ground and lied down. I can't be picky in these situations. Falling asleep this early may be hard, but there is nothing to do but to rest.

In the distance, I thought I heard a horse, but I don't care. I already drifted off to sleep.

Minutes later, I've been startled awake by this bright light. Blinking, I quickly sat up.

Bandits! Run! my brain yelled.

"Well, what do we have here?"

"I'm no one special. Go away!" I turned my head towards the direction of the voice.

"Oh, don't scare her like that." a women's voice sounded, surprising me.

I didn't know women also become bandits.

"Oh, dear. You must be shocked that we pried you awake, but we just had to make sure you were not dead." the women continued.

"What is a young lady doing on the road alone?" the man's voice questioned.

"Umm...I'm heading back to the capital to find my father." I lied. In truth, my dad left our family more than 8 years ago, right before Reina was born. We already believe that he's dead.

"We're heading back to the capital, too. We just visited our son, Josh in the nearby village. And by the way, my name is Robert. And this is-" Robert spoke.

"-Mariette." Mariette interrupted.

I then wondered. What would a young child be doing in a village when they live in the magnificent city?  But then I decided it was the cue to introduce myself instead. "My name is Arabelle Sterling, but you can call me Elle."

"Sterling, huh? Any chance related to the high official, Ashton Sterling?" Paul asked.

"Oh, no." I don't know anyone in the government." I hastily replied.

"Hmm..." Paul hmmed while stroking his nonexistent beard. "Do you want to us to take you to the capital? It beats facing bandits and a two week walk alone."

Seeing how nice and kind-faced the couple are, I decided it was safe to ride with them. They won't kidnap me, my mind reassured. "Okay, sure." I said.

"Well, go right on the carriage. Ladies first." Robert said with a twinkle in his eye, just like how my father was when he talked.

"You don't have any belongings?" Mariette questioned, just like my mother would, peering back at the bushes.

I shook my head. Partly because I wanted to get rid of the thought about Robert and Mariette being my parents. "No, they're all in my pockets."

"Well, climb on, dear!" Robert urged.

While I was ascending the carriage, I couldn't help but notice how refined the couple are. Nice, rich clothing. A carriage that probably worth more than the house I live in. Or lived in, in this case.

"Go to sleep, Arabelle. You'll need plenty of energy in the city, trust me." Mariette suggested.

I looked out of the window towards the wonderful night sky. Breathing the fresh air, I realized I couldn't believe my luck. "Oh, I will." I answered Mariette.

With a slap from the reins, the driver of Robert and Mariette, or should I say the horse, took us racing on the road, straight towards the capital city. I can't turn back now, even if I wanted to. Wiht a happy sigh, I drifted off to sleep to the rythm of the horseshoes sounding on the road.

Whatever obstacle or help I get, along the way to the city and in the city, is something kind of similar to fate. It's unavoidable.

Sorry, my writing is so sucky. And boring. Let's hope Liana will help me fix it up and get it more interesting. lol. Don't worry, though. Because in Chapter Three, I will introduce an important character that will certainly brighten things up! Sadly though, Inevitable is a preview, so this is all you get, so if you're interested in reading, wait till I finish writing the book and then buy it and read it well. Yes. So yeah. Bye for now~

August 14th, 2012. (Inevitable)

So here it comes, I written the draft of Inevitable, the book I'm writing. This is straight from the notebook, I haven't really corrected the mistakes that are pretty hard to correct and involves thinking yet. This is just Chapter One because I'm still working on Chapter Two. I need this small part, so yep. I'll post up Chapter Two for later. Also, my book buddy, Liana thought up the title for me. Do you like it? The sad part is that I could barely pronounce my own title. LOL.

And well, I finally posted. I will post up  Chapter One of Inevitable here, but obviously it will also be in the "Inevitable" by Cindy Mai page on the top if you ever want to reread it or look at it for future reference.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer Excerpt!!!!!

GUESS WHAT, GUYS!!!! Who read Cinder!!! Well, guess what, again. Scarlet is the second book out the series, The Lunar Chronicles. Here's the teaser for Scarlet. I couldn't find the original one from Marissa Meyer's blog. But anyways, here's the link,

 http://shelftalkersanon.tumblr.com/post/20822670001/scarlet-teaser-from-marissa-meyer.

The link is from like a random person's blog I found so yep. Marissa Meyer actually described and told us about the teaser and stuff. But when I read it, we didn't have our blog yet. Here's the teaser in case you don't want to use the link. :)

Scarlet Teaser by Marissa Meyer

He should have been sleeping, but after countless hours of staring at the shadows above his bed, he’d finally given up and decided to come here and attempt to do something productive. He was dying for a distraction. Any distraction.
Anything to chase away the thoughts that kept rotating around in his brain.
So much for those good intentions.
Taking in a measured breath, Kai glanced up at the empty office. It was supposed to be his father’s office, but the room struck Kai as far too extravagant to be a place for work. Three ornate tasseled lanterns were lined up on a red-and-gold ceiling, hand-painted with elegant dragons. A holographic fireplace was set into the wall to his left. A sitting area with carved cypress furniture surrounded a miniature bar in the far corner. Silent videos of Kai’s mother shimmered from picture frames by the door, sometimes paired with flashes of Kai growing up, and sometimes all three of them together.
Nothing had changed since his father’s death, except the room’s owner.
And perhaps the smell. Kai seemed to recall the aroma of his father’s aftershave, but now there was the distinct stench of bleach and chemicals—remnants of the cleaning crew scrubbing the room raw after his father first had contracted letumosis, the plague that had killed hundreds of thousands of people all over Earth in the past decade.
Kai’s attention fell from the pictures and snagged on the small metal foot that sat on the corner of his desk, its joints caked with grease. Like a revolving wheel, his thoughts came full-circle yet again.
Linh Cinder.

And guess what!!! I found Chapter One on Marissa Meyer's own blog!!! Here's the link: http://www.marissameyer.com/book/book-two/. Anyways, yep. I didn't post Chapter One here so you can explore Marissa Meyer's blog and such. ;)

And I also found an excerpt of Chapter Two!!! From a newspaper book website, LOL. Anyways, here's the link,http://books.usatoday.com/bookbuzz/post/2012-07-05/cover-reveal-excerpt-and-interview-scarlet-by-marissa-meyer/797057/1. Here's Chapter Two, in case you didn't exactly want to find it on the website.
Read an excerpt from chapter 2 of Scarlet, Book Two in The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer:
Scarlet spotted Gilles behind the hot top, ladling béchamel sauce on top of a ham sandwich. She walked around to the other side, yelling to get his attention, and was met with annoyance.
"I'm done," she said, returning the scowl. "Come sign off on the delivery."
Gilles shoveled a stack of frites beside the sandwich and slid the plate across the steel counter to her. "Run that out to the first booth and I'll have it ready when you get back."
Scarlet bristled. "I don't work for you, Gilles."
"Just be grateful I'm not sending you out to the alley with a scrub brush." He turned his back on her, his white shirt yellowed from years of sweat.
Scarlet's fingers twitched with the fantasy of chucking the sandwich at the back of his head and seeing how it compared to the tomatoes, but her grandma's stern face just as quickly infiltrated the dream, scolding her. How disappointed she would be to come back home only to find that Scarlet had lost one of their most loyal clients in a fit of temper.
Grabbing the plate, Scarlet stormed out of the kitchen and was nearly bowled over by a waiter as soon as the kitchen door swung shut behind her. The Rieux Tavern was not a nice place—the tile floors were sticky, the furniture was a mismatch of cheap tables and chairs, and the air was saturated with grease. But in a town where drinking and gossiping were the favorite pastimes, it was always busy, especially on Sundays when the local farmhands ignored their crops for a full twenty-four hours.
While she waited for a path to clear through the crowd, her attention landed on the netscreens behind the bar. All three were broadcasting the same news footage that had filled up the net since the night before. Everyone was talking about the Eastern Commonwealth's annual ball, where the Lunar queen was a guest of honor and where a cyborg girl had infiltrated the party, blown up some chandeliers, and tried to assassinate the visiting queen . . . or maybe she'd been trying to assassinate the newly coronated emperor. Everyone seemed to have a different theory. The freeze-frame on the screens showed a close-up of the girl with dirt smudges on her face and strands of damp hair pulled from a messy ponytail. It was a mystery how she'd ever been admitted into a royal ball in the first place.
"They should have put her out of her misery when she fell on those stairs," said Roland, a tavern regular who looked like he'd been bellied to the bar since noon. He extended a finger toward the screen and mimed shooting a gun. "I'd have put a bullet right through her head. And good riddance."
When a rustle of agreement passed through the nearest patrons, Scarlet rolled her eyes in disgust and shoved toward the first booth.
She recognized Emilie's handsome street fighter immediately, partly due to an array of scars and bruises on his olive skin, but more because he was the only stranger in the tavern. He was more disheveled than she'd expected from from Émilie's swooning, with hair that stuck out every direction in messy clumps and a fresh bruise swelling around one eye. Beneath the table, both of his legs were jogging like a windup toy.
Three plates were already set out before him, empty but for splatters of grease, bits of egg salad, and untouched slices of tomato and lettuce.
She didn't realize she'd been staring at him until his gaze shifted and collided with hers. His eyes were unnaturally green, like sour grapes still on the vine. Scarlet's grip tightened on the plate and she suddenly understood Émilie's swooning. He has these eyes . . .
Pushing through the crowd, she deposited the sandwich on the table. "You had le croque monsieur?"
"Thank you," he said. His voice startled her, not by being loud or gruff as she'd expected, but rather low and hesitant.
Maybe Émilie was right. Maybe he was shy.
"Are you sure you don't want us to just bring you the whole pig?" she said, stacking three empty plates. "It would save the servers the trouble of running back and forth from the kitchen."
His eyes widened and for a moment Scarlet expected him to ask if that were an option, but then his attention dipped down to the sandwich. "You have good food here."
She withheld a scoff. "Good food" and "Rieux Tavern" were two phrases she didn't normally associate with each another. "Fighting must work up quite an appetite."
He didn't respond. His fingers fidgeted with the straw in his drink and Scarlet could see the table beginning to shake from his bouncing legs.
"Well. Enjoy," she said, picking up the dishes. But then she paused and tipped the plates toward him. "Sure you don't want the tomatoes? They're the best part, and they were grown in my own garden. The lettuce too, actually, but it wasn't wilted like this when I harvested it. Never mind, you don't want the lettuce. But the tomatoes?"
Some of the intensity drained from the fighter's face. "I've never tried them."
Scarlet arched an eyebrow. "Never?"
After a hesitant moment, he released his drinking glass and picked up the two slabs of tomato and shoved them into his mouth.
His expression froze mid-chew. He seemed to ponder for a moment, eyes unfixed, before swallowing. "Not what I expected," he said, looking up at her again. "But actually not horrible. I'll order some more of those, if I could?"
Scarlet adjusted the dishes in her grip, keeping a butter knife from slipping off. "You know, I don't actually work—"
"Here it comes!" said someone near the bar, spurring an excited murmur that rippled through the tavern. Scarlet glanced up at the netscreens. They showed a lush garden, flourishing with bamboo and lilies and sparkling from a recent downpour. The red warmth of the ball spilled down a grand staircase. The security camera was above the door, angled toward the long shadows that stretched out into the path. It was beautiful. Tranquil.
"I have ten univs that say a girl's about to lose her foot on those stairs!" someone shouted, followed by a round of laughter from the bar. "Anyone want to bet me? Come on, what are the odds, really?"
A moment later, the cyborg girl appeared on the screen. She bolted from the doorway and down the stairs, shattering the garden's serenity with her billowing silver gown. Scarlet held her breath, knowing what happened next, but she still flinched when the girl stumbled and fell. She crashed down the steps and landed awkwardly at their base, sprawled across the rocky path. Though there was no sound, Scarlet imagined the girl panting as she rolled onto her back and gawked up at the doorway. Shadows cut across the stairs and a series of unrecognizable figures appeared above her.
Having heard the story a dozen times, Scarlet sought out the missing foot still on the stairs, the light from the ballroom glinting off the metal. The girl's cyborg foot.
"They say the one on the left is the queen," said Émilie. Scarlet jumped, not having heard the waitress approach.
The prince—no, the emperor now—crept down the steps and stooped to pick up the foot. The girl reached for the hem of her skirt, tugging it down over her calves, but she couldn't hide the dead tentacle wires dangling from their metal stump.
Scarlet knew what the rumors were saying. Not only had the girl been confirmed as a Lunar—an illegal fugitive and a danger to Earthen society—but she'd even managed to brainwash Emperor Kai. Some thought she'd been after power, others riches. Some even believed she'd been trying to start the war that had so long been threatened. But no matter what the girl's intentions were, Scarlet couldn't help a twinge of pity. After all, she was only a teenager, younger than Scarlet, even, and she looked wholly pathetic lying at the base of those stairs.
"What was that about putting her out of the misery?" said one of the guys at the bar.
Roland jutted his finger toward the screen. "Exactly. I've never seen anything so disgusting in my life."
Someone near the end leaned forward so he could look around the other patrons at Roland. "I'm not sure I agree. I think she's kind of cute, pretending to be all helpless and innocent like that. Maybe instead of sending her back to the moon, they should let her come stay with me?"
He was met with robust laughter. Roland thumped his palm on the bar, rattling a mustard dish. "No doubt that metal leg of hers would make for a real cozy bedmate!"
"Swine," Scarlet muttered, but her comment was lost in the guffaws.
"I wouldn't mind the chance to warm her up!" someone new added, and the tables rattled with cheers and amusement.
Anger clawed its way back up Scarlet's throat and she half slammed, half dropped the stack of plates back onto the booth's table. She ignored the startled expressions at the next table and shoved through the crowd, circling to the back of the bar.
The bewildered bartender watched on as Scarlet pushed some liquor bottles out of the way and climbed up onto the counter that stretched the length of the wall. Reaching up, she opened a wall panel beneath a shelf of cognac glasses and plucked out the netlink cable. All three screens went black, the palace garden and cyborg girl vanishing.
A roar of protest bellowed up around her.
Scarlet spun to face them, accidentally kicking a bottle of wine off the bar. The glass shattered on the floor below, but Scarlet barely heard it as she waved the cable at the incensed crowd. "You all should have some respect. That's girl's going to be executed!"
"That girl's a Lunar!" someone yelled. "She should be executed!"
The sentiment was enforced with nods and someone lobbing a crust of bread at Scarlet's shoulder. She planted both hands on her hips. "She's only sixteen."

Yep. that's it. Sorry my font's like that. See, Liana's fandom takes me so far.......

Cindy's Reply: August 2nd, 2012

Last time I checked, August meant closer time to school. ;P

And thinking about it, i haven't downloaded Divergent yet, I'll have to do that to the outside computer.

I plan to write that story at your house, Liana, so you can help me think...LOL. On August 5th, which is in four days, I would have to go to Liana's house and fulfill our busy schedule: which is all about books. I have to write my short story for the writing contest. I also have to proofread what Liana's book, Incend have so far. So, yep. I get to know her book's ending first and weeee....I won't tell anyone.....since I'm her personal editor, that is unless she gets like a real, professional editor, but I'll still be the first one to read her books. Since Liana wants me to write a book so much, I will also bring along the plot I have written for my book for Liana to look at and help me think of ideas. So yes, my official announcement that I'm writing a book. Butt it has no title and no ending. It has the beginning, though. It doesn't even have the climax yet.....but everything starts with a beginning, right?

Also on that day,we plan to read. Or I plan to look at Liana's magnificent bookshelf and see what they have in them. What else would we also do. If we have free time, we would probably just hang out. Either way, Liana feels like we wouldn't finish that schedule in one day, so we planned for a second meeting for the authors! On Satuday, August 11th! Which is about a week later! So either way, the days go by leading us closer and closer to school and the end of the year, and 2013 will come in no time!!

Which many awesome, plot-thrilling books will come out!!! I'm not saying mines. Since I barely started, so I will much less finish in 4 months. I meant all those book-hanging trilogies or series....that includes Requiem by  Lauren Oliver (Delirium #3), Prodigy by Marie Lu (Legend#2), Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (Cinder#2), Reached by Ally Condie (Matched#3), I haven't read Divergent yet, but I'm pretty sure Divergent#3 by Veronica Roth. And also Rick Riordan's The Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus #3) is going to come out this fall, October, I think. Wooo!!!! Oh and also, the Gallagher Girls series #6. It was not announced yet, but I'm pretty sure Ally Carter won't disappoint her fans and get that book out by 2013. And probably hopefully, if possible, Liana Chau's Incend would come out by then.

Free Online Books

Hey so I've been browsing the Internet, does that even sound right? So anyways, for those who never read Delirium or Pandemonium or some other good books and don't own a copy, I found this website with the book. Then you can rant on with us about how good it is. Although reading from the computer is nothing compared to a book, it's better than nothing. You also download an ebook on the website. I'm sorry to say there's not Divergent, therefore I couldn't read it.
The website below leads to Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, but you can search up other books on the Search bar or look at the books that readers also read column. Have fun!

Sorry. I couldn't link that up via iPod but I'll fix it when I get on the computer.
See. If you just stick with our long book reviews and crazy fandoms, you might actually get something good out of this. Really good booky places. ;)

The Authors are Meeting Up!

Ha. Don't get too excited. It's not a public event. It's not any famous authors. You probably won't know them unless you're reading this blog. And I don't even know why I'm posting this. Since this is between the authors of THIS blog. Yep. We're finally meeting up for the summer! The first time since we started the blog! I felt like I needed to post something so. ......yeah.

Graceling by Kristin Cashore- How far does my fandom take me?

Heey guys. I spent this whole entire afternoon working on this video. And it was worth it! Even if I did plan to finish Sunlight and Shadow by Cameron Dokey TODAY. :c I sacrificed reading for this video. But it was enjoyable. Yes it did take a whole afternoon due to the irritating freezing Windows Movie Maker provided. AHEM. Okay, so. Hope you enjoy it! <3 For people who haven't read Graceling yet, here's my persuasion video. (:

And that will be all. Bye! ;D

A Comment About Cindy's Currently Reading....

I kind of use this thing more as Cindy Read......since I don't usually change what I'm reading until I"m actually doing a book review about the book I just changed it. LOL. So don't be surprised. Anyways, that's all I've got to say. Sometimes, if I don't feel lazy, maybe I'll change when I'm actually reading the book. You'll know if I'm lazy or not. LOL

For Fans of Rick Riordan

As you may know, the third book, The Mark of Athena, of the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan is coming out fall of 2012 and Rick Riordan has shared Chapter One of The Mark of Athena here. So, I wanted to share that with you guys since you know how exciting it is to read a preview before it's out. Yep. That's my exciting news for the fans of Rick Riordan ;) That includes me.
Spoiler? Ish? Not really, just read the here first before this.
Well, Chapter One only talks about Annabeth's point of view and stops a dead stop where the Greeks would greet the Romans, so we don't exactly get very much out of it, but still. It helps......

No More Books to Read? WHAT?

Ha! Did anyone catch my "no more library books so I'm not currently reading a book" on Cindy's currently reading list? I just remembered that I have that whole stack of free books from the school library waiting to be read. There's always books to be read even if you don't think so. ;)

I Need to Read Divergent

Lately, I've been hearing Divergent is really good and I haven't even read it. I really need to read Divergent. Liana, can you do like a Book Review on it? And don't the ending, please. Normally, it's just me who spoils the ending though. Anyways, thanks.
