Eek! Guys! These are just the books that I couldn't resist.
I don't do much book hauls. So this one is a huge one. Where I actually bought for all the books. As in they are not gifted or free. And as in they are NOT ebooks. :)
I had to buy them. Omg. Hehe. Glad to add them to my shelf.
Everything is from Amazon.

In a world where people born with an extreme skill—called a Grace—are feared and exploited, Katsa carries the burden of the skill even she despises: the Grace of killing. She lives under the command of her uncle Randa, King of the Middluns, and is expected to execute his dirty work, punishing and torturing anyone who displeases him.
When she first meets Prince Po, who is Graced with combat skills, Katsa has no hint of how her life is about to change.
She never expects to become Po's friend.
She never expects to learn a new truth about her own Grace—or about a terrible secret that lies hidden far away...a secret that could destroy all seven kingdoms with words alone.
Comments:
I first read this book in the 2009 CYRM event. Because it was a nominee. And it turns out I loved it. :) So did everyone else. So yep. Definitely. I would love to have Katsa and Po on my shelves. There they can join my ARC version of Fire, with Brigan and Fire. Teehee~
Graceling is becoming a movie guys~ In 2014. Oh yes, I'm definitely watching that.
I think Graceling was on sale for 5 something once. I didn't buy it....oh wells.

In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue--Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is--she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are--and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, Tris also learns that her secret might help her save the ones she loves . . . or it might destroy her.
Comments:
The other 2014 movie I'm dying for. This action packed dystopian young adult novel is also one of my high list books. They rank very high. :) And they are GOOD. So if you ever want to read them, go ahead. But probably everyone had read them already. LOL.
So yes. I certainly want sexy Four on my book shelf.
And for the movie status. The cast is already known to public! :D
Here's more info on the 2014 Divergent movie and other recent and future book movies.

Comments:
Of course, I would also buy Book 2 of Divergent. Since it was half off. 9.24 for a hardcover? Especially for a famously sought one. Hell yeah! LOL.
Okay. No news on Insurgent movie yet. But yannoe. We'll get there.
P.S. The price may vary. Like when you get to Amazon, it might not be the same price so don't be disappointed.

In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Times bestselling Mortal Instruments series.
The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them....
Comments:
Since my friend had been pushing me to read this series....I might as well buy the book. She made it sound really good and I thought I would give it a try.
And yes. More movie business. I heard this is becoming a movie. Not certain. And not clear when. But yes. I heard.

In the magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray has found safety with the Shadowhunters. But that safety proves fleeting when it becomes clear that the mysterious Magister will stop at nothing to use Tessa’s powers for his own dark ends.
With the help of the handsome, tortured Will and the devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister’s war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal and fueled by revenge. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister knows their every move—and that one of their own has betrayed them.
Tessa is drawn more and more to Jem, though her longing for Will continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa answers about who she really is? As their search leads to deadly peril, Tessa learns that secrets and lies can corrupt even the purest heart.
Then, I also bought the second installment of the series. Haven't read it yet. Since it came today. :) But going to.
I did buy the Clockwork Princess. But I pre-ordered the paperback version. I have no release date on that. But the price is somewhere in the 9 ranges.

When Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder. Much less a murder commited by three teenagers covered with odd markings. This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons--and keeping the odd werewolves and vampires in line. It's also her first meeting with gorgeous, golden-haired Jace. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in an ordinary mundane like Clary? And how did she suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....
Comments:
And with the movie coming out for this one. I had to also buy this one and reread my Jace lines. The cocky and arrogant Jace in the book is amazing. Haha. :)
Okay. SO THAT MOVIE.
