Q: We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

A: Honestly, I really never heard about reader conventions until now. I mean, THERE WERE READER CONVENTIONS? WHAT?!? I've been missing out in a lot! LOL. Tbh, there is so much to the book and blogging world that I haven't even learned about yet. ;)

    I feel the same way! I seen the feature and got to googling immediately! I was like what is BEA and RT?!! Now that I know I really want to attend BEA in NY!! It looks soo exciting! :)

    Thanks for helping. I have been followingParajunkee for a while and today Allison can read and this one which said it was not quite this name, but I think "Cyndy" is the key to my success. I would like to see if there are going to be any Chick Lit conventions. I was told about 3 years ago it was no longer a genre yet it still seems to be Going strong. To complicate my position I started a new blog today, The Clueless Side of Marriage. Keeping them separate seems to be impossible. Despite my efforts they are both under my very obvious profile.

    I have heard of these conventions before, and I would like to go so much. If I win the lottery, I'll go to BEA - it's in NYC, and there are both blogger panels and author panels.

    Hey thanks for visiting and I'm a new follower. To answer your question, ALA is the American Library Assn. -- basically it's an annual conference for librarians, so there's a bunch of stuff besides books -- but there's a lot of books! BEA is Book Expo America -- it's all about books. I've never been to either one, but that's my understanding.

    I think I heard about ALA before, but I still looked them all up to be sure, lol. They all sound amazing! I'd really love to go to BEA.

    I'm new to this whole book blogging world and I just stumble over this post on parajunkee's blog and thought this it an awesome way to get people to follow each other.     I just found out about BEA last year. I went for one day. Going to all four days this year. I will be staying with my son to save money on lodging. It is a lot of fun.
